Job Location

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Cost Controller you are responsible in maintaining a system of internal controls primarily in areas of Food & Beverage production & consumption.


• Maintaining a system of internal controls (financial and otherwise) for managing the Food & Beverage resources, Operating Equipment and Fixed Assets in accordance with corporate guidelines that function in an orderly and efficient manner, ensures adherence to Hotel policies, safe-guards resources and secure as far as possible the completeness and accuracy of records
• Managing closing of books and preparation of Cost Control Reports as per Hotel Standards
• Analyse & interpret financial reports, identify trends and make recommendations where necessary
• Develop and maintain FBM & Micros database adequately. Supervise the input and handling of financial/reference data for these Systems
• Audit Outlet Beverages stock consumption for misuse or deviations from standard costs.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment <br><br>
• Ideal candidate must possess relevant diploma in Accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience/training in a 4 star hotel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Proficiency in communication and math skills is imperative.
