Restaurant and Bar Manager Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager with a dotted line reporting to the Cluster Director of Restaurant and Bars, the Restaurant and Bar Manager will assist in the constant development of our offering demonstrating innovation and passion. He/ she will be in charge of the Local and In Room Dining. This Restaurant and Bar Manager position will of course be a hands on position driving the business forward, providing outstanding service to both business and leisure guests in the heart of Dubai's Barsha Heights district. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate activities of the food and beverage outlet TRYPsters, to ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service

- Pro-actively deal with guest queries, advising guests on menus and beverage selections, ensure satisfaction with food and service, and respond to complaints in an expeditious manner

- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of outlet TRYPsters manning needs

- Assist Cluster Director of Restaurant and Bars in the development and execution of the marketing plan for food & beverage outlets by keeping current on competitors on a regular basis

- Proactively communicate with BOH to ensure consistent high quality standards are met

- Inventory Management to include: daily, weekly and monthly inventory tracking and working directly with the Cluster Purchasing Manager for supply requisition and delivery schedules

- Adhere to TRYP by Wyndham, standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs

- Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and HR/Payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures

- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents - Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or TRYPsters injured

- Keep Cluster Director of Restaurant and Bars promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e. problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action

- Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations;


- A genuine interest and understanding in food and drink - wine and cocktail knowledge is essential
- Up to date with food and beverage trends
- Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Organizational skills including attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Requires the ability to run multiple outlets concurrently
- Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Cluster Director of Restaurant and Bars
