Job Description The Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for assisting the Director Sales and Marketing in designing, coordinating, directing, hosting, executing and evaluating all marketing efforts. He/she is also responsible for developing the annual marketing plan and budget.

- This is a cluster role where the Associate is responsible for two properties.

- Responsible for managing and delivering the day to day marketing activities for the Hotel in line with the agreed marketing strategy, to support the delivery of hotel revenue targets.

- Responsible for the management and growth of the hotel data and the targeted use of the database.

- Contribute to the creative process from creative brief to delivery for all hotel communications, collateral and websites (both internal and external) and the creation of copy to support this in cooperation with the Wyndham Corporate Office.

- To manage and coordinate the hotel communications plan to ensure that all communications are targeted at the right audience and delivered on time. Ensure all activity fits into the estate communications plan to avoid duplication or over communication to the database.

- Responsible for tracking campaign success to enable us to understand the return on investment of each activity and aid future promotion plan through effective reporting.

- Responsible for planning and organisation and contribution to the creative briefing process in conjunction with the venues marketing and PR manager of all photography shoots, events and promotional activity relevant to the hotel business.

- Working closely with the digital team to deliver innovative and creative online campaigns.

- Management of design/third parties agencies in relation to the hotel business.

- To ensure that all activity carried out is managed within the Wyndham standards.

- Ensure that the best possible rates are achieved through suppliers when ordering materials and services.

- Train, evaluate and motivate new and existing Associates and conduct performance reviews.

- Attend departmental meetings if required and update the corporate team on a regular base.

- Responsible for the production of a monthly marketing report for the hotel detailing key achievements activity undertaken and future key initiatives.

- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to share knowledge, best practice and experiences.

- Support in the management of press events and where appropriate, supporting the other departments during key areas of activity.

- In this role it is required to do Manager on Duty shifts regularly, according to schedule.

Requirement
In order to be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing / Advertising / Media as well as 2 years or more marketing experience in the service industry. Also, you should have a understanding of loyalty and customer recognition and posses excellent communication skills across a variety of platforms and on all levels.
