The Crowne Plaza Dubai is an upscale hotel brand located along the business area of Sheikh Zayed Road with over 568 rooms, 13 international restaurants and bars, and has one of the largest meeting, conference and banqueting facilities in the UAE.

At the moment, we are looking for Proactive Sales Executive to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly revenue team at Crowne Plaza Dubai .

As the Proactive Sales Executive , you will serve as the key contact for in house guests who books online through a third party. Generate new business leads and converting the guests to direct bookers by networking with in house guests and any other potential customers in the hotel proximity. Ensure all requirements of the clients are met. Follow the revenue sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure that sales goals can be achieved. Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage through direct client contacts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Implements all sales action plans related to encouraging booking direct plans and initiatives.
• Achieve targeted revenues and maximise profitability by increasing the direct bookings and saving third parties commissions.
• Promote and produces sales leads for other hotels of the InterContinental Hotels Group. PEOPLE

• Manage day-to- day indoor sales activities and plans.
• Disseminates sales related information to other departments, establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
• Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development. GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Provide guests with information (example: loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with in house clients in order to convert them to direct bookers and produce room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services.
• Takes ownership in problem solving and shows accountability in decision making in line with IHG P&P.
• Coordinate with the guest service team when meeting/calling the guests. RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
• Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
• Comply with the Company's Corporate Code of Conduct ACCOUNTABILITY
This is a middle management sales and marketing job in a full or limited hotel and may include meeting space and/or catering facilities.<br><br> Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing/revenue or related field, and minimum two years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must speak local language. Other languages preferred.
