At the moment, we are looking for a Director of Food & Beverage to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly Food & Beverage team at Crowne Plaza Dubai .
As the Director of Food & Beverage , you will develop and set Food & Beverage strategies for the hotel to ensure F&B revenue goals are achieved, tactical plans are created and implemented.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
â¢ Monitor the department's actual and expected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or target exceeded and opportunities are identified and addressed.
â¢ Develops and Manage Food and Beverage budget
â¢ Ensures food & beverage policies are in place in areas and followed by all related employees.
Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labour costs and profitability
â¢ Involve in recruiting food & beverage leadership team members who demonstrate strong food & beverage background, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation.
â¢ Provides support, guidance and direction to subordinates, including monitoring of performance.
â¢ Coaches food & beverage leadership team to effectively manage wages, food & beverage cost and manageable expenditures.
â¢ Ensures that expectations and objectives are clearly communicated to subordinates
â¢ Ensures employees are treated fairly and equitably.
â¢ Provides services that are above and beyond for Guests satisfaction and problem resolution.
â¢ Develops service by communicating and supporting the team to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching if required.
â¢ Reviews results from comment cards and guest satisfaction with the team and provide suitable corrective action is taken.
â¢ Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.
â¢ Empowers and support the team to provide excellent guest service.
Responsible for food and beverage operations, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Catering, where applicable. This role directs the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand standard strategy, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Develops and implements schemes that bring products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the Guests, property employees and provides a return on investment.<br><br> Degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, 4 years' experience in the food and beverage operations.
