McGettiganâs Pub was first opened in Ireland in the 1960âs, on Queen Street in Dublin by Jim McGettigan. Since that day, the business has grown from Dublin, moved to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, back home to Donegal, Limerick and Galway with further locations in Singapore, Clarke Quay and New York City.
2010 saw the very first McGettiganâs Irish Pub open its doors in Dubai at Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Eighteen short months later, the McGettiganâs story in Dubai expanded with the opening of both McGettiganâs Irish Pubs at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai International Airport.

Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a highly competitive salary and package which includes Basic salary, accommodation, transport, duty meals, air ticket and medical insurance.
â¢To audit, balance and consolidate departmental ledges accounts, supervise the night audit process in Opera and prepare various hotel operating reports as well as balance the end of the day reports with Opera.
â¢To ensure the timely and correct preparation and submission of all the administration and audit reports
â¢To attend departmental meetings and training's as and when needed or instructed
â¢To prepare credit card/ charge card summaries and post to ledger account
â¢To correct any errors or omissions made by cashiers during the day prior to the night audit process
â¢To prepare outlet operating reports and complete the audit packages to laid-down standards
â¢To accept revenue and floats form cashiers, ensuring that there are counted and securely locked away
â¢To support cashiers during busy times
â¢To carry out all necessary checks, for example special rates authorization, credit limits, cashier deductions/transfers, etc. and ensure that all such transactions are correct and documented appropriately
â¢To regularly spot check all outlets concerning cash transactions, ensuring that cash amount in tills is equal to cash report readings
â¢To check the trial balance for the day and to check the city ledger transactions for the day ensuring that they have to correct documentation attached and are error free
â¢To audit the daily general cashiers report against recorded cash movements
â¢To verify there are no missing cheques, receipts and other vouchers on a daily basis
â¢Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry
â¢Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
â¢Should be able to multi-task & work under pressure
â¢Good knowledge of RMC & Micros
â¢Positive attitude & ability to communicate well in English
