As Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Reservations team & strategically managing the room inventory to maximize revenue & better market performance. Job responsibilities are performed in accordance with the standard policies and procedures set as per the company guidelines but he/she exercises a considerable amount of independent judgment in carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities. Your responsibilities include:
â¢ To ensure the hotel meets revenue targets.
â¢ Organizing & managing room reservation activities.
â¢ To generate new business for the hotel & being aware of selling all services.
â¢ Analyzing daily pick-up, forecast trends and devising marketing & revenue management strategies under the guidance of the Revenue Manager.
â¢ To actively seek all sales and revenue opportunities both internal and external to increase the profile of the hotel.
â¢ To work along with the Sales & Events teams to maximise occupancy of rooms, drive business & increase market performance.
â¢ To develop strong working relationships with all guests & clients in order to maximise sales opportunities and generate business for the future.
â¢ Maintain high level of knowledge about our competition and their product offerings.
â¢ To understand the construction of Budgets & Forecasts and how to influence profit and loss results.
â¢ To ensure that billing and credit agreements are managed and controlled.
â¢ Control room inventory to maximize revenue and ensure smooth operation of the reservation department.
â¢ Maintain and manage hotels PMS and ensure that accurate information and data are entered by the reservation team.
â¢ Maintaining proper balance between the hotel's online system & Property Management System, so that accurate availability is shown at all times.
â¢ Drive and increase hotel system performance and visibility as appropriate.
â¢ Ensuring compliance with occupational health & safety standards as per the company guidelines.
â¢ Reflecting the company's environment friendly vision and encouraging & supporting team members on the Green Engage program.
â¢ Adhering to the PCI-DSS standards while handling sensitive credit card information.
â¢ Adhering to the Fire, Life, Safety rules & regulations & report any potential threats.
