EPCM Project Manager

Wood Industrial Services are currently recruiting for an EPCM Project Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries The role will be based in the London area and requires demonstrable experience in a similar EPCM role Responsibilities and Duties- Contract implementation & effectively and pro-actively manage project change

- Preparation of the Project Execution Plan and development of critical issue action plans

- Development of Project co-ordination procedure

- Responsible for the Document Distribution Matrix (DDM) to define the document requirements of the project team including the client

- Development of Risk Management Plan

- Establish innovation value engineering reviews

- Early activities associated with planning and preparing for project completion and acceptance by the client

- Preparation of monthly reports to the client
- Manage projects with technical teams to deliver them on schedule and budget and meeting the technical needs of clients and regulatory agencies as applicable
- Liaise regularly with client project managers Directors technical teams internal accounting teams and external clients financial teams
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan projects (scope schedule and budget)
- Assemble and use project monitoring systems including available financial tools and reports
- Develop and implement project support plans (health and safety quality risk management communication documentation and financial etc )
- Understand and adhere to project and contractual terms and conditions
- Act as primary client contact

Skills Qualifications

- Demonstrable experience in an EPCM role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent accreditation in project management (e g PRINCE2 Agile Six Sigma)
- Experience managing in-house technical resources
- Strong knowledge of Project Management Systems and excellent project planning and monitoring skills
- Strong understanding of the importance of health and safety in projects
- Demonstrated experience with project financial tracking and change management related to scopes of work strong knowledge of Project Management Systems
- Experience in identifying project risks and assisting with developing and maintaining risk registers
- Skills related to project planning numerical tracking and analysis (e g using MS Excel or similar programs)
- Highly organized adaptable a developing leader and calm under pressure
