Project Engineering Manager

Wood Industrial Services are currently recruiting for a Project Engineering Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries The role is a permanent staff position and will be based in the London areaResponsibilities and Duties- Establish manage execute and deliver the Engineering for the framework and assigned in accordance with the contract
- Be the principal engineering interface between Wood and the client
- Proactively lead and manage the performance of the engineering team
- Maintain effective communication with all relevant parties including the Client Corporate Management Partners and Project Management team to agree execution strategies and manage resolution of areas of concern lessons learnt and continuous improvement strategies

Skills Qualifications

- Demonstrable experience in similar Project Engineering role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent accreditation in project management (e g PRINCE2 Agile Six Sigma)
- Experience managing in-house technical resources
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Project Management Systems and excellent project planning and monitoring skills
- Strong understanding of the importance of health and safety in projects
- Experience in identifying project risks and assisting with developing and maintaining risk registers
- Highly organized adaptable a developing leader and calm under pressure
