Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
â¢ Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
â¢ Facilitate all Company training programs and ensure standards are followed
â¢ Provide on-going coaching and guidance for departmental Trainers or department Leaders to ensure consistency of quality training
â¢ Ensure all training material is up to date
â¢ Coordinate all training seminars
â¢ Act as an internal performance consultant, involved in facilitating departmental meetings, focus groups and team-building activities as required
â¢ Partner with external organizations who provide support for the hotel's learning strategy
â¢ Ensure all team member training, documentation and testing is completed in the required time frame
â¢ Create and develop training materials and programs to meet the needs of the hotel
â¢ Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
â¢ Follow all safety policies
â¢ Other duties as assigned
â¢ Previous leadership experience in a related field required
â¢ Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
â¢ University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
â¢ Previous Hotel experience preferred
â¢ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
â¢ Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
â¢ Highly responsible & reliable
â¢ Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
â¢ Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
