Our IHG® Worldwide Sales Centre in Makati is currently seeking for Sales Associate - Latin America.

AVAILABLE CAREER OPPORTUNITY:

Sales Associate - Latin America provides support to the Americas Region by servicing leads through the effective execution of the inquiry handling process, steps to conversion, and the preparation of proposals, quotations, and by cross checking product information between hotels for all brands within the IHG. You will support the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for assigned Sellers - driving greater revenue to IHG branded hotels through project coordination, trade show/agency coordination, liaison with internal departments, compilation of internal and external sales reports and serving as a liaison between clients and hotels.<br><br> Ideally, the role will need candidates with experience in customer service, call center, contact center, BPO, sales, and/or hotels but we are interested in you even if you don't.

Some of our best employees came to IHG® with no work history at all. We are looking for great communicators who have the ability to quickly develop relationship with our guests. We are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly navigate web pages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Designated support to Key Account Managers (KAMs) and their Accounts


• Serve as primary point person for IHG to designated Accounts
• Guide individual IHG hotels in negotiation of rates for Accounts, and assist hotels in maximizing revenues while meeting Account needs
• Handle to conclusion the RFP process for Accounts and successfully execute booking needs of assigned Key Accounts.
• Coordinate market segment sales projects as required or requested. Coordinate needs of market segment client promotional activities and project needs. Interface and coordinate project efforts with other Company Departments.
• Coordinate reports and market share/clients data as needed.
2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills


• Business-level Spanish Language Communication Skills is required for this role
• Experience and knowledge of sales principles and techniques
• Time management skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with Key Accounts.
• Ability to interact on a professional level with management and clients.
• Knowledge and experience of Sales Systems (i.e. Delphi; i-RFP; Holidex, etc.)
Experience


• 1-3 years progressive work-related experience within a regional sales team or similar environment, with demonstrated proficiency and understanding of one or more functions related to the position.

Anyone applying for the role must be at least 18 years old and willing to work on graveyard shifts, holidays and weekends.
