Come and be a part of this success. About the Opportunity We seek a well-rounded and dynamic individual to join our GAS Finance team as an Administrator Finance Processing. Reporting to the Lead- Finance Operations. This role will be responsible to ensure timely and accurate processing and execution of payments for BHP, in compliance to internal controls including the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Documents, agreements, systems, standards and procedures. Key relationships that are critical for success in this role: Internal GAS Relationships: Finance Global Asset Services Other Global Asset Services Functions (HR, Supply and Technology) Global Assets and Operations Finance Teams Technology and Finance Business Partners Key remit: Demonstrate an overriding commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) Ensure alignment with and compliance to internal controls including the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Documents, agreements, systems, standards and procedures Actively contribute towards achieving set performance targets and KPIs by focusing on maintaining up-to-date, accurate and timely data in 1SAP Develop supportive relationships with others in the team and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities Contribute to maintain a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement Recommend improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems to the Team Lead Contribute and execute the Finance Global Asset Services strategy Assist in the creation and maintenance of local operating procedure documentation Create and execute Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) and cheque payments within 1SAP and other banking systems in accordance with procedures Update cheque registers Reconcile bank confirmations to proposals and investigate payment rejections Identify high value foreign currency payments and obtain approval from Treasury prior to executing payments through FIBALPOP process Prepare daily funding requests to Treasury Action payment related cases, such as payment stops, recalls and traces, in accordance with Service Level Definitions Upload month end balances into the Companys reconciliation tool (RecMan)   About you  A degree qualification in accounting or Professional Certificate with at least 2 year of accounting or general finance experience •  Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply •  1 - 2 years minimum relevant professional experience will be an added advantage •  Knowledge of business processes and SAP FICO module functionalities in the area of Finance will be an added advantage •  Strong computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge database applications and exposure to ERP systems •  Attention to detail, good analytical and problem solving capabilities •  Excellent time management and planning skills •  Team commitment and self-drive to achieve results and deliver on goals Strong customer orientation, possesses good communication skills and interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with internal and external customers across functions and geographical locations   What we offer you At BHP, we will provide you an environment to: be autonomous and support (you) to use initiative; be accountable and performance driven; work flexibly with a focus on outcomes, not hours; problem-solve collaboratively together; Activate your improvement mindset, experimentation and agile learning.
